How time flies..

Wow! So much has changed since my last post on here, in my life as well as Kota's.

I was accepted into the veterinary program here at Oklahoma State University and began the curriculum this past fall. Just finished up my first semester and am completely loving life pursuing my dream.

Kota spent a few months with Clayton Criger in Haskell, OK getting some finishing and she is becoming a little rockstar, I am so happy with her progress. Sort of makes me feel like I am learning to barrel race all over again, she is so dang powerful! I am just so thrilled to be able to run barrels on her (after going through her stifle injury and not knowing if she would ever be able to run). We are slowly but surely getting to where we need to be, learning together, and it is great.

She has been entered a handful of times and she has done wonderful. Pulled me a few checks and we are just out there having fun. I still have a bit of work to do on myself, but we are getting there. Cannot wait to see what the future has in store for us!
